There were 5000 people in town until 1982 with 800 at the high school, now only 180 attend the school. Lit has lived in Trona all her life, she is a delightful woman, full of stories.

We had to leave by 5:30 to return to camp. Back at Furnace Creek to have dinner at the café, then back to camp. It's pretty windy tonight so we can't even keep the doors or windows open we looked at photos and then retired to bed around 10 PM.
