| 09/28/2007 | Slept in today until 0800. Had cereal for breakfast and headed out, first stop WalMart the on to Hoover Dam for the tour. Hoover Dam is listed as one of the top 10 civil engineering wonders of the world. There is a new bypass bridge under construction which is due to open 2010 or 2011. The wind came up late morning/early afternoon but the temperature stayed about 90. We had a good tour. |

Headed back to Las Vegas, arrived back at Sam's Town just in time to catch the 3:45 shuttle bus to downtown and the strip. The weather is now cooler but still pleasant for walking. We saw New York New York, MGM Grand, the fountain shows at the Belagio and Mirage. We also was the sphinx and pyramid at the Lux. |

| We ate dinner in the NY NY casino at the America restaurant, the casino was very smoky but at least the restaurant was non-smoking. |  |

| It was fun to walk around and see the lights and the glitter. caught the last shuttle back to Sam's Town, arrived back at the trailer at about 10PM. We cleaned up and went to bed! | |||
