Texas Spring Campground.

Anxious to get going we hitched up the trailer and truck the night before, waking before dawn we hit the road at 05:15 am! The truck was fueled up and ready to go, no need for any lenghty fuel stops for the trip down. Glad we were headed East, the traffic westbound was bumper to bumper as the bay bridge was still closed. We sailed along eastbound, after about 80 miles we stopped at a rest stop to have breakfast and to check the trailer weel lug nuts since we had 3 new tires.

Our next stop was in Bakersfield to look for the Camping World store, they had moved since were here last year and are now located at 550 Wible Lane which is on the west side of the freeway (exit wither Wible Lane & take the 1st left or exit Panama and take the 1st right, Walmart and other shopping is on Panama).

After a brief stop at Camping World we hopped back on the freeway and made our way to route 58 heading east and on over the Tehachapi's.
